KangaTech allows you to profile your athletes’, and to compare them to other athlete groups and critical injury risk thresholds.
KT Charts
Key measures across a body region are shown as percentiles of the comparison population
Compare an athlete to a population either within your organisation or across sports and nations
Easily identify asymmetries and imbalances
Strong and robust
This athlete has an elite hip strength profile across all planes. He has exceptional speed and agility and is extremely robust.

Injury prone
This senior athlete compares poorly to his peers across most hip measures, and had a long history of lower limb and hip injuries prior to starting KangaTech

Poor landing profile
This athlete had a previous knee injury and presented with a poor quarter squat and hop landing profile – increased Trendelenberg, femoral adduction, femoral internal rotation and excessive trunk lateral flexion. Force plate testing showed low peak force and long eccentric contraction time. These kinematic and kinetic deficits can be associated with a range of hip strength profiles. The athlete’s KT chart showed deficits in extension and external rotation in flexion and targeted training showed rapid improvements in his kinematic and kinetic profiles.

Young recruit
This young recruit was motivated by comparing his strength profile to that of his peers. Regular screenings throughout his early career ensured symmetry and balance as he developed.

Gluteal Tendinopathy
This athlete presented with a gluteal tendinopathy, expressed as lateral trochanteric hip pain during overground running. Improving deficits in hip external rotation strength and managing load allowed him to continue to train and run without missing any games
